Dear partners,
I’m pleased to invite you to the British Council’s series of webinars on Language Assessment Literacy.
There are six webinars in total that will be offered once a week on Thursday at three different times. Each webinar is one hour long and will be run by our experts in assessment: Dr Victoria Clark, Manager Global Assessment Solutions, Erica Balazs, Global Assessment Solutions Consultant and Mark O’Sullivan, Global Assessments Solutions Consultant.
In this series of webinars, we will focus on a range of assessment literacy topics as follows:
- Assessing Listening – 14 May 2020
- Assessing Reading – 21 May 2020
- Assessing Speaking – 28 May 2020
- Assessing Writing – 4 June 2020
- CEFR Part 1 – Introduction – 11 June 2020
- CEFR Part 2 – Mediation – 18 June 2020

The session, run by Billie Jago, is publicly available and offers ideas on how to encourage, motivate and support students preparing for exams in an online classroom environment.
